Happy Halloween
As I sit here at my desk, neck-deep in “Twilight”-themed plus-sized merchandise (Vampires are very big with the kids, especially the very big kids), I’m thinking about Halloween. Specifically, I’m hoping my costume this year will offer a positive return on the time I invested in producing it.
I will be going as a “Douche.” The key elements of my costume will be a life-sized, homemade label for Summer’s Eve Feminine Personal Douche (to tackle the literal end of things), complemented by a bevy of douchey accoutrements: liberally-applied self-tanner, baseball cap with oversized ‘BMW’ logo, Bluetooth wireless earpiece, aviator sunglasses, golf shirt with popped collar, and a tribal arm band tattoo.
My return on investment, or “R.O.I.” in douche parlance, will hopefully come in the form of hearty laughs and some safe, no-strings-attached heterosexual intercourse which, now that I think of it, is itself a fairly douchey aspiration. Luckily, douchebaggery is an irony-free pursuit.
Glad to see you’re removing all irony from Halloween 2009

Hi – really good site you have made. I enjoyed reading this posting. I did want to issue a remark to tell you that the design of this site is very aesthetically sweet. I used to be a graphic designer, now I am a copy editor in chief for a marketing firm. I have always enjoyed playing with computers and am trying to learn code in my free time (which there is never enough of lol).

Solid blog. I got a lot of great data. I’ve been following this technology for awhile. It’s fascinating how it keeps varying, yet some of the core components remain the same. Have you seen much change since Google made their most recent acquisition in the arena?

Hey I just wanted to let you know, I actually like the written material on your web site. But I am employing Chromium on a machine running version 9.10 of Crashbang Ubuntu and the UI aren’t quite right. Not a important deal, I can still essentially read the articles and search for information, but just wanted to inform you about that. The navigation bar is kind of difficult to use with the config I’m running. Keep up the good work!
